  • Positivity Thread II

The first positivity thread I started went well and then sort of fizzled out. Let's see if we can keep this one going! Just post things in your life or around you that are positive and cheery. We all deal with so much junk and negativity everyday that its healthy to strive to find positive things in our lives as well.

    I'll start.

The weather this past week has been nice and cool which is incredible considering its mid-May. I'll take this any day over the usual humidity and heat.
I think everyone on this rez is addicted to Harry Potter...lol...

All the animals are healthy (had some vet scares last week) and it is finally warming up. The Ospreys are back and winging overhead and our Pow Wow went well.

The building where I work at is surrounded by woods and open fields. The "building geese" (same pair I've seen for the past 6 years here) finally managed to hatch a brood of goslings and had them out for a stroll this past week.

Yesterday morning at dawn I had a curious coyote follow me from the back parking lot to the front of the building.

The mourning doves are doing their courting dances; the wild canaries and orioles are singing sweetly as they collect twigs and grasses to build their nests.

The raspberries and honeysuckles are all in bloom.

And it's NOT HOT and NOT HUMID *grin*

Sophie, I wasn't sure what to name this. I would've included the word "debate" in the title, but that word, despite its harmlessness, comes across minacious to some. I know you understand. I hope you find this and I hope I did it right. :)

For those of you new to this...

Well, 4 months to the day that I turned my two beavers into the tannery and they are done! I've been so excited since I won them at the yearly Fur Auction in downtown Fairbanks in March, during the North American dog races. I missed out the day before on river otter, so that was a shame this year,...

Is anyone planning to take a trip for Spring Break?

We have our room booked already and plan to leave for ND on Friday. Hope to be across the border and shopping by 3 pm!

                                Tell us your plans!
