you know it would not surprise me one bit if we were all some kind of bet for her, and you are right again funny how she lost her "indianess and became just black.

Her username probably has something to do with it. Greagirl means she stays in the grey area most of the time on most arguments. On the one thread she ended up in the black area. Notice how much of the time too, she plays the "devil's advocate". Maybe she had to participate on this website as part of some kind of class or something.

It's true reservations are a very small fraction of what once was, but we're still grateful for what's left.

Some non-Indians often have a difficult time grasping the concept of "heirs", for often times they don't have family to hand anything down to.

One time a coworker of mine remarked that we shouldn't have reservations. When I mentioned treaty rights and what was promised he said ...."yeah the government made a treaty with the Indians of long ago, not with the Indians of today!" DUH.........same thing ennit???? Man......some people's kids......if they had a brain they might be dangerous.

I think her profile is just being humerous.. but this post about reservations is out of line and I think she knows now not at all appreciated.

Living together in one location keeps us stronger. There's support in some cases that can only come from each other.

This place is like a small reservation. On a reservation, if a non-Indian speaks out of turn, they get put in their place by someone. That happens here. Not by just one.

People tease each other just like on the rez. Heck, I tease people who I never met before. Then I meet them and it's just like I've known them for awhile.

If you haven't noticed, the best powwows are on the rez. Sure, you can go to GON, but there's nothing like a good ole, rez gathering. It's the feeling. Nothing can match it.

Wanna fight against a big corporation that's pollutin' your homeland? On a rez, you've got everybody's support. We stick together.

I've lived in a few of the biggest cities in North America, but there's no place like home.

As for greagirl, she's probly a fun person to chill with if you're what she wants you to be.
Somebody made her vain. Not her fault. Dr. Phil should be able to help her with that problem.
She reacted typically to "you peoples" comments by attempting to belittle your race. Most of you who posted know this. Again, not her fault. Somebody made her that way. Dr. Phil - help her.

    Wow...

What a statement... evidently don't know to much to make such a generalized statement, yes many out east here were removed, but many of the western tribes are still inhabiting reservations located at least partially in their former territories...
And as for the hand-out part... Wow... obviously never been to many reservations enit?
