My dogs look like guard dogs but they are more like our advanced warning system. By their barks I can tell when it's someone walking by, riding a horse, walking another dog or just another dog by itself, a cat, group of kids, my own kid has wandered out of site...moose, bear, porcupine. They are really good for that.

Annie, What was his name? When I was in school, my family had a white german shepard named King. King was cool, either someone stole him or he ran away. I can understand you missing your german shepard. Recently my wife and I lost our female Cane Corso to cancer. It took a while to get over the loss. I better quit talking about her, my eyes are starting to water. Do you have a dog now?
