Congress shot down the proposed new minimum wage bill, keeping the minimum wage at a " WHAPPING" $5.25 per hour.
After taxes can that buy a gallon of gasoline ?
It has been at $5.25 per hour for the last 9 years !!!!!!
Meanwhile Congress recently passed a law giving themselves
a " Measley " Little Raise of $30,000.00 per year on top of
the $100,000.00 plus, a year that they already make.
I think that we should let congress people apply for free cheese, food stamps, and a government subsidized housing.
Poor congressmen how do they live on such a little salary ?
I have another great Idea !!!! Let's tax those rich people making that high dollar minimum wage, a little more. !!
Better yet, let's make them pay us so they can work !!
