hello yall, i worked for a while today a fun job for me .i have one student and im a teacher of {let me see if i can spell it} English yea and i throwed in some Japnese for fun too.

heres a short lesson for everone
1 in english is One
1 in spanish is uno lol
1 in Japnese is iche

any way we had fun today i think her husban is going be happy about the Japnese I hope.lol

I was on here this morning before work and dang I had over 3 pages of posts to catch up on just here in the Den. EP must be Flute your thinking of that does quillwork. I wouldn't mind learning somewhere down the road. Not many people do it anymore.

yea... i want to learn how to do most of the traditional ways of doing things. i dont like to use glue for instance. or plastic materials. metal glass wood stone shell anything else i can get ahold of...

like when i make prayer feathers now... when i put the smaller feathers on there i get them just the way i want them then i take beading thread and wrap it round the large quill til they are tight enough to where the ribbon wont move them. im going to sew some fur on there too...

I didn't even mention all my secret types of glue. I only use about....half a dozen or so. It all depends on what I'm working on I suppose. There are a few things that I do with an old style flair. But mostly I'm all about the modern product!! Just makes life so much easier. For example my fans. No way could I do what I do without glue, epoxy, etc. and there is the metal pieces inside the handle so it comes apart for easy storage and traveling.
