Morning all!
It's so nice and cool this morning here in Texas!! Severe storms predicted for tomorrow. Had a couple of tornado's hit pretty close a couple of days ago......tore up some homes. Have a guy from our California branch here this week training.......he just about freaked out over the tornado's. He said earth quakes he could deal with but these Texas storms and tornado's had him a little shook. haha
I'm working on my moc/boots getting the beading done on them..........the pow wow I'm head lady at is little over a week a way.........so it's definetly crunch time getting beadwork done before then!!

Nancyjo......good morning! What pow-wow are you going to be head lady at? I was just curious. Rice University Pow-wow is having their pow-wow next weekend, I believe. It should be interesting.

Generations are grouped as follows:

- The Silent generation, people born before 1945.

- The Baby Boomers, people born between 1945 and 1961.

- Generation X, people born between 1962 and 1976.

- Generation Y, people born between 1977 and 1989.


Why do we call the last one generation Y. I did not know, but

a caricaturist explains it eloquently below...Learned something new!

So wrong! I was born in the y Generation.

Good morning everyone! Today is Hump Day. Hope you get all the humping you want today. I sure will! Hee.hee.

awwwwwww....I just dropped my 14 month old at the daycare for the first time. I was dreading it, but I knew some day I would have to. Luckily when I dropped her off, they were watching Dora the Explorer, so I talked briefly with the group leaders and quietly left before she threw a fuss. awwwwwwww...it's only for a 4 days, but I feel guilty.

congrats on the the HL gig! The bead set I wear I started when I was prego , then when I delieved my youngest there I was him on one side of me and my beadwork in my lap lol, I made my hairties in the hospital, and started my barrett. Thast where my mind gos when I see my beadwork then a month later I was headlady for our ndn center.

Wow...SpottedEagle having a 'Dad' moment on me...

Anyways, sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I didn't go to work. I had ortho stuff to take care of yesterday...and found out my second appointment was cancelled, so I figured that I took the whole day off...why bother going in...

So yah, I spent all day vegging doing nothing. It was nice and relaxing...if ya know what I mean...*winks*

Dont worry. Just have faith girl. We walk for mother earth and she will provide us with anything we need. What she doesnt directly provide, the people here will. I have lots of extra room in my tent girl! We have everything in abundance. You wouldnt regret it......ok.....ill stop peer pressuring you now lol.

Hey all...dont have time to catch up on all the posts but wanted to drop by and say hi. The walk is goin great and we have some rest days now. Ive got blisters and sore muscles but my spirit is strong! Its all good. Rest day today. Im goin to see the medicine man now to soak my feet in some epsom salt and other stuff. They say the first week or 2 is the hardest. I had to sit out for 2 miles yesterday because my achilles tendon is a lil strained but its all good. We have a total of 3 rest days so it will be all good. Talk to ya again when i can.

Hey All , Happy hump day ! Sposed to rain tomorrow ! Been standin' on a 28' ladder all day , so I feel like I have bird feet ! LOL 2 more days of this , and I'll be done with this one.....well , till they approve a bunch more ! LOL
