church or powwows

I attend drum practice every Sunday, and when and if there is a powwow, I'm over there praying through song and dance. Church is for you crazy christians, so if your going to come on here an preach, your sadly mistaken. I'm a proud native woman, and I love and believe in the creator and all it has to offer to me and my family. I do not find ANYTHING for my in christianity or the bible.

The problem

which one do you attend?

You see that is where the problem is. People thinking with a European ideaolgy. Why is it that non-native people have to seperate spirituality from every thing. If your are spiritual, everything you do is evaluated on that basis. You should be thet same wheather your are in Church, the circle or the gutter.
Too many people do things for just show, not becasue it is truly the way they are.

Hey, why not both??!! Most of my life I felt the two had to be seperate. Meaning I had to choose one or the other. But one day it just dawned on me, these two seperate areas made me what I am today! Can't you be both a christian and still practice our native ways?? I say yes!
