If you think the Christmas spirit is dead
If you think there just is no way there is a Santa Claus
If you think that is all about Commercialism
If you want to say Arghhhhhhhhhhhh give me a drink...
Then it is Obvious as the nose on your Face
You just got home from WALMART
Not just any Walmart but the SUPER WALMART!!!
And even better its Friday afternoon just before Christmas!!!
I like to time my foray into this special hell when the parking lot is at its fullest and there are no carts to be found.
I have found this is the optimium time when the Christmas spirit is not to be found anywhere...
But occasionaly you will see kindred soul.
You know the ones...
They put their own cart back in the rack.
Rather then leave it in the parking stall so you have to clear it before you can park there...
They are the ones that let the little old lady cross in front of them.
Rather than almost run them down because they see the prime spot opening up...
They are the ones that still smile and say howdy
Rather than the stern faced ones rushing around shopping while cursing because everybody is in there way...
I see these kindred souls lost in a sea of madness.
I like to nod to them and smile as I am putting my cart back.
For we know the secret
Its in the heart
Not in Walmart
