Was sitting here watching Numb3rs... and the special report came over the news that he had been executed tonight by the Iraqis...

Does this mean anything to anyone, or could you care less...

As for me... my only comment is this... Karma is a B*tch!!! May your creator be kinder to you than you were to your fellow human beings...

I am glad he got what he deserved but I am praying for our troops that this won't cause a backlash against them. A guy I went to high school with, a Marine, was killed in Iraq in '04 and its only gotten worse since then. Meanwhile Osama is free....frustrating situation. But at least Hussein didn't go free this time.

Wherever Osama is he is well taken care of. None one knows where he is. I've been to Afghanistan and the Pakistani border...this area of the world is pretty tough.

I was in in Afghanistan when Saddam was captured. Was on a long range patrol and was told by other Soldiers what had happened.

I'm glad the Iraqi Gov. didn't take long to execute their former leader.

What do you mean about time? God bless the Iraqi judicial system. You get ONE appeal, and then sentence is carried out 30 days thereafter. Ted Bundy was on death row for how long before they pulled the switch on him? Living off our taxpaying dollars with cable, three square meals a day and a roof over his head?

And did any of you see the size of that rope they hung him with? I think it was the same one they used to pull his statue down with. Was a good 2 inch hemp rope. The knot look like it was thicker than my leg. You know what they say, if the rope breaks you are free to go. That rope wasnt breaking, they were not taking any chances with Saddam.

Oh yeah, they mentioned his will, but no details. I dont think he had anything left, everything was either seized or plundered, so you wonder, whol got nothing?

We're all glad over here, even though we never did get to see the end of Jeopardy.

My brotherinlaw is on leave from the Army and just back from Iraq, so we had a little cheering section. Looked all over online for the video and found it this morning. It doesn't show much more than the video on TV now, but the main thing was to see PROOF that he was dead.

With so many people volunteering to pull the switch, I don't think there's that much to worry about people making his burial into a shrine, as desecrating it. The 'burials' are done above ground over there.

what I meant was BOUT time he got HIS.. wasnt referring to the Justice system itself.. LOL.. Like comon.. after all those years of his BS... at least the world can rest a lil easier now, knowing there isnt a demon like him existing thinking he can just do whatever he wants to whoever he wants...
