My Dream

Ok people so i had a dream about 4 days ago but it's one of those that is on my mind all the time and I don't know what to make of it or what it means. So here it is:

I was in a place that looked a lot like how the areas where the Mayan pyramids look. Full of trees as far as the eye can see and a whole lot of pyramids, not the kind that look all brown like the ones from Egypt. More like as i said Mayan pyramids, where they're gray with shades of black on the stones. There are a bunch of small mini pyramids where there are two women in each. They are more like "jacuzzi" pyramids where there are no tops to the pyramids and they are filled with hot clear green water and there is steam coming out of these "jacuzzi pyramids". One woman in each of these pyramids looks like she is of high status because the other woman is like the servant who is bathing her. I was being shown the land by an asian man tho. He was just pointing out to pyramids. There was one that caught my eye because there was not only the women in it but the servant was nursing a child that was of the other woman. Then i asked the man, "what do you think about what the mayans say about December 21, 2012?" He stopped and looked at me and said that what they say is very true. what i am talking about is in the Mayan calander (since it's supposed to be the worlds most accurate calander) it ends with this date and this is the date where the world is supposed to come to an end. as he was talking to me there was a singing in the background. it was a woman singing but i couldn't make out what she was singing, it was in another language. the man noticed the singing and stopped talking and started listening to the song. i asked him what was going on and he said, "hold on. I have to listen to the words of this song" and we were listening to this song. then my alarm clock went off and i woke up.

I don't know why but this dream has been "haunting" me and not sure what it means. Anyone have any idea???

I am not an expert, but...

There was definitely a message in your dream. Because that date was seen in your dream, it def has a significant meaning, but the fact that the man was listening to hear the words of the song tells me that there are more messages coming to you. It seemed very interesting that as he was validating your question, he got distracted by the singing, almost like you weren't supposed to hear the full answer - at least not yet...

An important basic meaning of the pyramid is connected with time. This is shown by those pyramids; such the Great Pyramid at Chichen Itza, whose steps totals the number of days in the year, and includes displays of other temporal divisions. The persons being bathed in these pyramids appear to be in the process of being purified in "sacred time," which is another way of saying that these refer to those who have entered into periods of sacralized time.

The hot clear water may refer the chalchihuitl (jade), which for Mesoamericans, is often linked to water and by extension is also shorthand for the year (i.e., rainy season) in which renewal arises and new growth emerges. For the Mexica and Native Americans, jade is also equated with turquoise and takes on additional associations connected with that stone and color.

The man appears Asian because he represents "foreign thought," that is, thinking or intuitions at the frontiers of consciousness, since he points to what lies in the future. His explanation of December 21, 2012 as the “end of the world” may refer the effect that date will have on ones’ personal view of the world and the radical changes it might bring, causing “old world” perceptions to come to an end.

The song appears to be related to the Mayan story of time, a spirit song, its cyclic beginning and ending, and its renewal in 2012. Its esoteric message has the affect of waking you, like an alarm clock, as if to transport to a higher level of consciousness, directly comparable to waking as if from a dream.

Hi,

Attributing the impersonal significance of a dream is usually easier than attributing personal significance so it is usually a good idea to be open to alternative interpretations on this aspect to see what appears to fit best to you. And since dreams may have more than one level of meaning, acceptance of one interpretation may not necessarily mean rejection of others, as meanings will differ at different levels.

As to its personal significance, there are some clues from the dream, such as your apparent synchronization (which could be from the heart, mind, or from a higher intuitional sense) with the happenings of what is ahead for 2012. If this synchronization is maintained, you may rise to a higher level of spiritual consciousness, comparable to the kind of difference that exists now between dream awareness and waking awareness—where the difference can be very large. An indication of this comes from your waking to the alarm clock, which seems to suddenly signal the arrival of the meaning and message of 2012, transporting you mentally, while listening to its song.

Some confirmation that this is what may be going on comes also from a dream I had the other night as well 9/4/07). While wondering about how many people who know something about 2012 are also aware of its spiritual aspect, I was awakened in the middle of this dream about 3am by a nudge on the nose by our baby kitten that sleeps with me and my wife. She usually does this about 6-7am in the morning when she is ready for her breakfast, so I got up to give her something to eat, although it was not her usual time. Having been wakened at this hour, while was still very dark, and for this purpose from a dream like this, symbolically indicates the awakening of altruistic tendencies that aim to unite and connect as if by design, having as its focal point 12/21/2012.

I was told some time ago by an Elder up North to be very careful about who you tell your dreams to. Dreams are one of the ways the manitous talk to us, if we cannot hear them in the living world. The things they show you there, are for you to understand and interpret.

If there is a person that was in that dream that you know in your life then you can go to that person and talk with them about it. Its possible that the two of you were together in that dream. Together you may come up with a meaning.
If none of that works then you should go to a sweat, or fast and pray for an answer. Also be patient. The answer will come when its time for you to know.

Finally, if it really bugs you, keep a dream journal if possible. It is quite possible that you will have a dream, and not even remember it (if your memory works like mine does). I wrote a few of mine down, usually right after I wake up in the middle of the night, and go back and read them later. I swear if it wasnt for my handwriting I would deny having ever written those down.

And if you guys think you have some messed up dreams, you should take a walk through my wonderland. Do not forget your "Eat Me" and "Drink Me" potions.
