Cody is very vocal! Huskies don't bark, their call is more of a woo or woof. when Shadow was still with us, if he was startled, he woof around the house looking for whatever it was that startled him. Cody is more of a woo-er.

I don't have to watch the tree.. he uses it as his own personal hiding area and napping lounge but he doe'snt mess with the ornaments or the presents. He's a pretty good cat to be honest with you. He's very friendly even to perfect strangers and he's a talker. He rules the dogs and follows my hubby around like a puppy.

The chewing.. OMG that's so funny you mention that.. Kaiya would not leave cords alone even after being zapped twice by them! I had to order a whole new laptop plug in because of her!

And Maggie is a pound puppy who had some major separation anxiety and while my hubby was at work, she'd be in the house and she chewed apart an entire coffee table and the arms off my favorite wood chair! She's a really big girl too.. canine teeth are an inch and a half long and she's almost 30 inches tall at the shoulder.

BAHNISIAIN , huskies dont bark?? in the movies they seem to always be barking as they pull the sled. oh, what do i know, i lived near hollywood in california. come to think of it, most of the dogs were of mixed breed. *laughing*

wow, youre lucky BLACKBEAR. most stories of cats and christmas trees, end up with the tree being knocked over with ornaments breaking. the pet cat i used to have, named SIMBA (a siamese) kept boxing with the ornaments until she broke all the lower ones. then she tried climbing up the tree!

KAIYA sounds like a slow learner, or just really brave! or mebbe she just like the tingly feeling. *laughing*

now MAGGIE sounds like a good candidate for a name chage to "CHAINSAW". does she wear a collar with metal spikes on it? i dont think i would like to meet MAGGIE on a dark street! JK

yep, i am still mad at my dogs for chewing up all of my outdoor porch rockers. "TERMITE" might be a good name for one of them. *laughing*

                      "santas" Gifts To My Pets

although my two dogs TROOPER and RUSTY have been a little naughty this month...well, the past couple of months....*laughing* they are getting one of those giant cow bones, each!

i might even try to build them a larger dog house to share since they are such great buddies.
