An yeah okay I guess i was thinking this was a, Is she or is she not preg. thread.
When i read more that ya posted after, I understand an yeah I do hope everything works out for yalls

Yeah and BB is also 9 months pregnant right now as an at risk mother herself with diabetes and advanced age (as they like to call it) who's lower back and hips are in so much pain right now that it's hard to move around, much less care for a 9 year old ADHD daughter and elderly foster client, clean my house and keep the flurry of appointments associated with baby and firstborn when I have to drive 45 miles to Anchorage 3 days a week at the tune of 30 bucks a tank and on top of it we got 8 inches of wet snow........ and if I hear.. OMG you're HUGE one more friggin time someone is getting slapped!

Regardless if I don't sound like such a nice person right now or am not able to convey my real emotions clearly to someone who's just as oversensitive as myself at the moment then I think I got a pretty good excuse and should be cut a little slack don't you? I hope you do because if you think people sound insensitive now... wait till you are where I am at!

These tests were to check my hormone levels to see what medications I need to be on in order to concieve...thank you very little.

I cant believe how insensitive and just flat out hurtful some people can be when I have been nothing but nice to everyone here @ powwows
Uh... remaining calm here because I'm rather irritable lately... but the laugh was because for a few of us... you mentioning all this was not about educating us.. but telling us about your experience and it was (at least by me) being interpreted that the tests you were having were to find out if you were pregnant and if we were waiting WITH anticipation for your answer to either offer support if negative or congradulate you if it was positive.... so the laugh was a good humoured laugh to say, " Don't leave me in suspense any longer".

I don't think I could ever be insensitive about someone's feelings about not being able to concieve especially having gone through 4 years of trying for my second child myself and thinking it was'nt going to happen..... and I would'nt think that someone who had just tried to reassure me that things would be ok, would turn around and try to be a jerk afterwards like you just did me. But thanks for the vote of confidence.

I appreciate everyones comments and support
I will definately keep ya'll updated
I guess I shouldn't have gotten so personal with my posts but, thats just me... I've always been the type that is an open book, I have nothing to hide and I dont get embarrased by things.. I guess working as an HTS and working with kids... nothing grosses me out anymore LOL

I'll find out the results of all the blood tests and the ultrasounds on the 1st. If I was pregnant... they would've seen that in the ultrasounds I would think.
But anyways... on the 1st we will figure out what medications I need and where to go from here

nah....I never take peeps seriously on chat sites. *L* Unless I have known them for awhile. But also, i never share personal stuff on here either. well..you know, stuff that I don't want others opinion on. I usually go to related websites when I have questions about things. WEB MD ROCKS!! *L* Okay, not so much. But I have used it when looking up information.

You know though. I didn't realize infertility was that prominent. This is so awful but around here I alway shake my head and think..."you know they make this stuff called birth control......" But it is aggravating to see couples who would love to have a child and are having trouble, and then those "others" who have kids every year so they can stay on welfare. I seen that alot in the school system. 9 or 10 kids in a FAMILY! Each a year apart. it was ridiculous.

anyway, that went off track. good luck with everything and don't let the *******s get you down. Some comments aren't looked at in a joking manner when the topic isn't a joke.
(one of my bosses used to tell me that...*L* "don't let the *******s get you down") wow!! That's been blanked out. I didn't know bas-ard was a cuss word! The more you learn....*L*

    Thank you very much Chazziff
And it did feel like a personal attack and rubbing salt in the wound... exactly how I felt about it. But, I guess I should learn not to take things so seriously from people I dont even know right?

my whole purpose of posting things about PCOS/infertility treatments and things like that on the powwows board was to educate others on here that also have PCOS/infertility that they can get treatments by going to the indian hospitals and not just sit there and wait to get medical treatment because they cant afford it otherwise.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone or have taken what I considor "negative responses" too seriously. However, if you were in my shoes you wouldn't want to deal with those comments either.
I considor infertility among natives especially to be a very serious matter...I dont considor this just a "infertility issue" but a major health problem among ALL women including lots of native women....and its not just the infertillity when it comes to PCOS..there are SOOOO many health issues involved with it as well including cancer, diabetes, heart problems...the list is just too big to mention. Almost every one of the medical problems that I have, I can link back to PCOS. I'm diabetic, I have high blood pressure, problems with my teeth, digestive problems, lactose intollerance, food allergies... like I said too many to mention.
Again, I apologize if I offended anyone and jumped too soon to defend myself but I honestly felt like this is a big issue among native women who dont even realize how serious it can be...and should not be taken lightly

I don't believe her tone was to ridicule your situation. Blackbear is sincere. When we "talk" on here, we can't all naturally assume that everyone is compassionate, so it's hard to determine on a forum when a person is truly sincere or disrespectful, but in this case I do believe Blackbear is just being Blackbear.
