I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2001.. I got married and as of this month my husband and I have been trying to concieve for 27 months...we've used herbal remedies, progesterone cream...standing on our head...you name it. I had my first apointment on April 10th to start invasive fertility treatments..
I have my 2nd apointment tomorrow (22nd)
Okay heres the dream I had last night:
Well, okay you guys know how I went to the doctor on the 10th right? Well, my dream started with going to the doctor (tomorrow)... and the ultrasound technician handing me a paper from the doctor showing where they had removed tissues from my hoo-ha and that I was pregnant but it was a tubal, it said something about being 10 weeks along..and here's the really strange part... said something about being a male... that the baby was a male... yeah I know strange... and in my dream I just kept screaming... no no no...Elias no no no... over and over again... I was calling everybody... my other mom, my husband, my bestfriend...and just screaming and crying into the phone... I'm pregnant but its a tubal...my precious Elias is dying....over and over again. Than... in my dream mind you... I came home and was talking about it to my husband and he said.. well atleast we know you can get pregnant now... and I started talking to him about well, it must have been the Soy Isoflavones that I used this past cycle because thats the first time I had used that much Soy.. (200 MG)
So anyways... I eventually woke up... I still havent told my hubby or anybody else about this nightmare yet... I'm still too shaken up
What do you girls think?
And also...
I'm currently WAY late on my cycle... and I had spotting for 2 % 1/2 days but it stopped Friday... light spotting is a sign of implantation... so maybe? I just dont want get my hopes up.. I had a miscarriage when I was 19 and havent been pregnant since...
I know some of you have some insight into dreams... what do ya'll think?
I'm also one of the types who have what I call "dejavu" type dreams..where I dream about something and than it comes true...that happens ALL the time
Dude, way TMI. Just let us know when and if you are pregnant. Don't need to hear details. I looked at your profile and you are only 27, don't worry so much.

I got the ultrasounds done... it all really went well
And, I got my blood tests done... they are doing a bunch of tests...
testerone
progesterone
FSH
LH
glucose
and a bunch more I cant remember them all
and I got the results back from my pap that I had on the 10th
I had an abnormal pap which I figured anyways... since I already knew I had HPV
so it says Atypical Squamous cells of undertimend significance
so basically the cells are kinda iffy so we need to keep an eye on things..basically meaning that its not cancerous but it could turn out that way so they want me to get paps every 6 months instead of once a year
I have my next apointment May 1st when I get the results of my bloodwork and ultrasounds...
the tech did ask me if I had alot of pain my left ovary which I thought was odd because the majority of my pain is in the right ovary so who knows
thank you to everyone for the encouraging words
its nice to know that people I dont even know care ya know?

First of all... 99.9% of dreams are visual depictations of our anxieties, desires and fears... so your nightmare was simply that.. YOUR nightmare. What you fear the most cultivating itself in you dreams because you are still trying to deal with it when sleeping. You think that dream is bad... wait till you are 7 months pregnant and then the fear of being a good mom dreams start happening and those are twice as horrid! I dreamed someone stuck my firstborn in a microwave on the popcorn setting and I litterally watched her go pop! Torn apart by a pack of dogs, kidnapped by aliens...and this current pregnancy I've already dreamed someone was bathing him and his head went down the drain and got stuck it's just awful! So do not go reading the future into your dreams until you have one that does actually come true.
My cousin's wife has had similar problems and as soon as she gave up the dream of being a mom.. she had a pregnancy that did'nt miscarry and now she's due in 4 weeks! And don't talk about getting too old... I'm 39 and having my second child. My Auntie had her youngest at the age of 43 or 45. I don't recommend having kids after 35 just becuase of the risks involved, but it's not impossible and not a guarantee that there will be something wrong with the baby. And even if there was you'd love it all the same anyhow.
Giving up trying to get pregnant worked for me as well... just told the creator one day that I was leaving it up to him.. if I was gonna have another child that it had to happen before January or I was getting my tubes tied and that I wanted a healthy baby boy.... well he heard me and that's what I got.. pregnant on labor day weekend and it's a healthy baby boy I'll be having here soon!

If anything at all is wrong, please know it will be ok -
stressing will only compound any issues...

Best of luck honey. The nightmare could have been caused by either stress or even what you ate for dinner last night, or both. Keep your hopes up and we will keep you in our prayers.

Trust me, I've been where you're at. Having a baby is great, but you also have to be mind-set on raising a child for the next 18+ years. Raising a baby is hard work.
Again, open to your husband, and share your fears. The time will come for you guys. Just wait and see. Your prayers will be answered when the time is right.
