paper money, especially american money is pretty much worthless on the market......but I think that credit needs to go, I mean, you're not spending with cash, the heart and soul of american economy, so it doesn't recirculate...credit is like getting away with murder, I mean that people tend to get things on credit and majority of them default on it, causing a certain amount of influx in the economy, yeah you might not see it right away but because of it, thats why we are where were at.........

Now reports are that Palin is in Debate Camp on one of McCain's property. I wonder which one of his twelve houses he invited her and her family to? I already predict that Palin will win the debate. She will have so many "one liners" that will mean absolutely nothing and all the staunch republicans will declare her the winner Friday morning. Sorry, but sharp "one liners" will not cure America's economic woes. We need substance, something Palin does not have. That's just the plain and hard cold truth.

The scary thing about all of this is that McCain/Palin could very possibly win. I mean we got Dan Quayle didn't we, except this will be so much worse. Some people will not vote for Obama just because of his skin color, which is sad. This is serious stuff. America is seriously hurting, probably just a shy bit less than the Great Depression, and McCain/Palin is certainly not the medicine we need.

Thank you CP for the answers to my question. You are right about having to feel strongly about things and if it matters to you because you are effected by it. The IHS caught my attention big time. I don't like the way that IHS has been so low funded and how hard it is to actually be able to get the help that people need because of the low funds.

As for the fuel issues, yeah gas prices are extrememly high and that effects my pockets. But I don't know enough about the rest of it, I know alot of mechanics who try to explain it to me.LOL I just take their word for it.LMAO For the most part here, if I were run over by a vehicle and you asked me what hit me--most likely all I could tell you would be the color and that it runs.LMAO

Here's something that does mean something to me and I am very strong about it. Right now we are at war, wether any of us like it or not--we are. And all these men and women who have put their lives on hold and on the line for us on a daily basis should be respected and honored (I know that many feel that way--I am making a point here.LOL). Now, we all know that with a Democratic party, let's face it the fact is is that they don't really do much for the military (this has been proven time and time again). So what happens to these young men and women and their families when they come home? Will they have something to come home for and too? I'm very concerned about the Gov cutting funds and services through the VA and all of that. I really feel that right now with us being at war that the president of this country should have, at some time, himself have been in the service to truly understand what all these people will be going through. Again, this is just my opinion and I am very strong on it.

I know many Vietnam Vets and am involved with the Vietnam Vets of America (not as much as I used to be, but still do try to be) and I remember a few years ago that they were mad 'cause Bush had cut some funding programs through the VA. And then I saw him on TV talking about how we should walk up to a soldier and shake his hand and I thought "Well, yeah 'cause you done bent him over." Now I do know that this could happen with anyone, but it's not likely to happen so much so if there is someone who has actually been there and done that and knows what that's like. This is a major concern of mine and I would say probably one of the things that I will look for before I vote.
