My fav pic is this one... Aboriginal veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and currently serving (moi) at the Museum of Civilization. My Grandfathers are both in the pic...front row centre and second row, left end.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Wow, Wyo_Rose, your granddaughter (in your avi) looks a lot like you in this pic. (Except for the type of film and clothing) ya coulda said it was a younger picture of her and I would've believed it. Great resemblance!

Thanks, RDNKJ! Usually, I don't see it, but people say most of my gkids resemble me in one way or another.

                              Isn't the clothing something else?

G&B, my mom wore scarves outdoors all the time when she had long hair. Then occasionally after she cut her hair short.

Around here a lot of the old ladies wear scarves when out and about. Next door in Idaho, there's some younger ladies that wear them with their cloth dresses while dancing.

I wear a bandana now and then- scarf style - but tied behind my neck instead of under my chin.
