I was kind of hoping it was either Abby or Sam that died - can't stand either of those girls - never liked them.

I wish they hadn't made it so predictable. Once you saw that Pratt was the one injured it wasn't too hard to guess he'd be the one dying (sniff!). They should've have thrown a curveball, had Pratt recover, and someone else bite it in a totally unexpected way...

Oh, well. Still one of my favorite shows.

Dudes are just so harsh about other women. I like both Sam and Abby. Most guys would cause you know. AYE!!!! BEGs dude, don't you have the channels on different time zones. We watch Grey's Anatomy earlier in the evening. We pay and extra 2 or 3 bucks a month.

not a bad show well as much as i saw was also watching Greys Anatomy so lotsa flippin back n forth

OMG!!! it was Pratt and my daughter and I just cried the last 20 minutes of the show.....

I kept hoping he would recover, but as some one said, it was predictable once he was in the ER.

Very good episode.... I know this is going to be an awesome season... I'm sad to see it end, but it's time. And of course they are going to have a returns... I can't wait for Dr. Green's episode.

you know when they said someone was going to draw their last breath I knew it was going to be Pratt somehow. I'm not a Pratt fan though... was just hoping it was'nt Morris and thinking the alternative would have been Gloria Reuben's character come back to die from AIDS complications or maybe Morretti died.

I'm also watching the reruns on TBS and almost to the episode where Romano dies... that's an episode you just can't forget LOL!! How awful to have a helicopter crash land on you!

OMG!!!! I remember that...... Just when you start feeling sorry for the SOB because he lost his arm.... WHAM!!!!

It was weird because you didn't know if you were sad or kinda happy because the character deserved it... I know that sounds harsh.

That part actually reminded me of that awfully dull classic novel I had to read in high school, "Moby Dick." One of the main characters lost his leg many years ago to a great white whale, and at the end of the book it comes back for the rest of him.

Kind of like the helicopter...

And I agree with the assessment on Romano, he was just getting to where people could like him, and then boom, he gets crushed by the helicopter.

I got a feeling that they wrote it that way as inspired by Moby Dick actually.. And yeah Romano's character... he was abrasive and blunt but at times it was like he did it to cover up anything nice he did, like he just wanted to keep people on their toes and not let anyone get feelings in the way of doing their job. Paul McCrane is such an awesome actor too, but everytime I see him I flash back to a scene in Robocop where he's holding that big gun and yells, " I LIKE IT"! LOL!!!

That's interesting to think Carter could show up this week, cause today's rerun episode he just decided to leave for Africa.

I don't thing ER is on this week. Because at the end of last weeks episode, when they were showing the preview for the next show, it said in 2 weeks. It might be because of the Biden/Palin Debate.

I think it was a matter of time before Abby left, because of Kovach not being on the show anymore also.

Wouldn't it be neat if one episode was mostly dedicated to the 2 nurses who are still on the show from the original. I can't even think of their names....

I know the character's aren't real people. But I'm real bad with names. It's easier for me to just keep using the character name.....
