The guy cheated his way into office,twice, and is a complete IDIOT. His dad was a wuss and he is a wuss. No prez in history was as stupid, and those that voted for him are just as stupid. He was all about money and getting to ride in "Air Force One", that's all he really wanted. What a fool. Anyone who thinks different needs to be institutionalized for years.

and why?

I don't know that I could give him just one overall grade. I think his performance varied depending on the context.

For example:

For keeping us safe since 9/11 I'd give him an "A." There have been no additional terrorist threats on our soil since then, and even international terror groups have suffered major setbacks since then.

For the Iraq War I'd give him a "B." I think getting Saddam out of power has been a positive for that region in terms of bringing in more democracy and ending genocide.

For the economy I'd give him a "D." There wasn't tight enough oversight for such entities as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, for example. I really don't think he was totally "in touch" with what us average folks have been going through with rising oil prices and rising mortgage payments. (Course the Democrats had a big hand in this too, i.e., Barney Frank).

For handling the Hurricane Katrina situation I'd give him an "F." I think that was the beginning of his downward spiral in the face of public opinion. If that had been handled more expeditiously and effectively I think his overall approval rating would have been higher in the last part of his term.

As far as people calling him stuipd and all that, that's just a product of negative press.

(think that was his name). He was in diapers and playing in the mud at best when Big Daddy Bush was president.... give it a break and quit parrotting what you hear on the TV....

personally over all I'd give him a C- there was a lot of room for improvement....

I agree with North of Ada, President Bush gets an "A" for keeping us safe after 9/11. In fact, I give him an "A+"!

I also agree with your grade for the war and the economy, but I think that in the case of Katrina, the local governments (some of them Democrats) share the blame. I would give him a C- on that.

The MILITARY kept us safe. And even if Farmer Ned is only what?? 18 or 19??? So are alot of the boys and girls overseas so I think they have a right to an opinion as well.

The Military gets an A in my book b/c there are so many countries that were ready to go after us. They are the ones who kept us safe and continue to do so.

overall im disappointed in george w. bush, but im still giving him a D. He gave the miltary the spending they needed and even crossed the line into socialism with the stimulus checks. in his own way he changed how the goverment is perceived now by doing so.. instead of regulating and leading it seems like the gverment is leading humanitarian missions here in the United States. which leads me right into Katrina, i blame the locals and the local goverment. in the first place hurricanes are gonna blow through no matter what every year!! and second the state goverment should have stepped up.

but im gonna miss bushy, just some of the things he has said in an offical manner is just insane.
