You're only single once. After that...well...we're just used parts!

I've been wondering how to put all those x's in the little box.

Why must I feel like that..why must I chase the cat?

I always put SINGLE.. its my own busniess if I was married before or not.

There should be another box to check if they are gonna get all in the bedroom with us... "Does the interviewer have bad breath? Yes.. No.. hahahaha

I see nobody wants to admit they're 'used parts'!!!

I check single on my W-2 and W-4 and w30 forms.

I'm glad you asked that question.LOL

I'm just new to this too and didn't know either.LOL

My mom's been divorced over 30 years and she still marks "Divorced" and my dad's been dead for 18 years.LOL

Being newly divorced now myself, I'm still not in the phase where I do that just yet. But I thik that I will be here soon.LOL

when I was divorced and single, I checked single because I took my maiden name back...

I would say at this point you are safe checking single if you like....

Dude, it depends if the interviewer is a real pretty friendly person then I put single. If she is not very good looking, I put married.

LOL I was single the second the door shut and he was gone. No, but for real...you are single if you arent married, correct? And divorced doesnt matter to anybody because that doesnt apply to whatever you having to check the box for. I think thats just dumb reasons to add more paperwork to people. Who cares what your marital status is if it isnt for tax purposes and even then, who cares unless his income is calculated into your income.

Well that's true.. used parts aren't bad at all unless its like tossin' a hotdog down a hallway...

... and even then ya can.. er.. maybe I better shut up.

As a single dad, I always put Head of House on my tax stuff... ya get more tax return and ya better do it while there isn't a woman around to get mad and say "Head of WHAT?!?!"
