Country music legend Johnny Cash dies at 71

Country music legend Johnny Cash died this morning due to complications from diabetes, the Associated Press reports. He was 71.
Cash died at a hospital in Nashville. He suffered respiratory failure, the AP reported.
Cash, known as the "Man in Black" for the name of one of his hits and style of clothing, won 11 Grammys. He recorded an album, "Bitter Tears: Ballads of the American Indian," about historical mistreatment of Native Americans. It included songs about treaties, the Battle of Little Bighorn and Ira Hayes, the Pima soldier captured in the famous raising of the American flag at Iwo Jima during World War II.
