Lover's Spat

Ok. So you and your man had a huge disagreement. A fight. A lover's quarrel. You both leave each other angry. Harsh words were spoken and she tells him she doesn't want to speak to him again. Couple days later he goes out on the town and meets a blonde. They end up having a drink together and another and another. They play pool and end up going to her place where they do the nasty.

Is he right or wrong in doing so?

Lets hear from the guys as well!

The never speaking to her bf part again just seems as if it will only be a temporary thing. When words are thrown around too loosely, people end up getting hurt.
As for the man, he was very wrong in doing so. I believe that, if you truly love someone, you have absolutely no reason to cheat on your bf/gf. If the person goes "oh I was too drunk, I'm sorry", that's too effin bad because that's just a damn excuse. Like if you're not happy in your relationship, whats the point of sticking around right?:o

Geez that's a tough one. The guy is using the excuse that he thought they were broken up? But did he confess this in the first place or did the girlfriend catch him?? Either way I suppose it hurts.

My opinion: I recently went thru something very similar to this....we had a HUGE blow out, exchanged some nasty words & drove off in a road rage! I haven't talked to him & have no desire to! To me it done, over with, finito!

So technically what the guy did may not have been in his best interest but he isn't cheating! He's not a mind reader, how's he suppose to know "I never wanna see you again" translates to "Please chase me down & beg for forgiveness" in womenisms? If they haven't spoke in days & the parting words were to the effect of things being over, then hey, ya gotta eat your words man! If she didn't mean it, she shouldn't have said it & if she's truely wanting to work things out then she should be big enuff to admit she may not have been true w/her words & vise versa!

I think it depends on the relationship they had. How serious they really were...
If one of them would do that...drinking or not...it would seem that they did not have the kind of committment that would make for a good long term relationship anyway...
they would work things out OR decide if they needed to really end it before acting on an impulse like that...
it seems like breakups that occur in the heat of an argument end up being temporary so often that it would be sad for one of them to do something that could permanantly damage any chance of trust again beacuse of acting on an impulse.

Hmmmm this is a tough one.... I personally think.. when you commit to a relationship in the beginning and you both know that each other has faults and stuff that cannot be changed about one another... well shiznits, you accepted them for who they were at that time so feck DEAL WITH IT... but on the other hand.. as in this "friends episode" here lol... :p two adults... yes they were angry, etc and its on both their heads... not just on the guys... or the girls... but they both exchanged words, feelings..etc... and if they were totally committed and serious about the relationship... then they would find a way to work it out to avoid the "nasty w/the blonde" LOL... :Chatter :Chatter buuuttt like the girl said.. "she never wanted to see him again.. "yada yada... feck.. if she didn't mean that.. why the hell would someone say something that stupid yesss she was angry... but i think basically they both need to grow up too!!!

didn't know was an espisode on Friends. I hardly watch tv. In any event, this was a real life happening. Personally, I didn't know what to think at first. Many of our people have gotten away from tradition where love and couples are concerned. ONe teaching of ours is that we do not go visit a man (and vice versa) if the wife is not there. Further to that and more to this happening, if that man or woman is already in your heart and you even think about it happening it is like cheating even before the act actually happens. Just some wise words from some elders here. :D
