    tribal cards 2 dance???

    i went to a powwow this weekend(not sayin wich it was)but they told me i couldn't compete b/c i had no tribal card(wich im working on gettin).that kinda upset me.the guy said they were doing things the traditional way at a cmpetition pow-wow,mind you,i thought 2 my self "that isn't very TRADITIONAL is it"
    i just want to know what you think,is that right or what?
    who lives in a pineapple under the sea? man i wish it was me!

    Meskwaki members have rejected a tribal action that reduced their monthly payment from tribal casino profits.

    The Tribal Council action, which was already in place, was rejected Feb. 27 in a vote by the full settlement.

    Has anybody heard of or gone to the Tribal Crossroads Pow-wow in Leitchfield, Ky?.. just wondereing how it was...since i can now take a break form Army training..I want to do some pow-wow R and R!!!

    So I am just getting back into powwow dancing from when I was 5. My local tribe is hosting a powwow but wants me to have my tribal card with me to register. I am a member of 2 federally recognized tribes however I am getting replacement cards made. To cut to the chase I wont have them in time to dance....
