Weird dreams

Most of the time, I do not recall dreaming when I sleep, but sometimes, I have dreams so vivid and so weird, that i wake up in a sweat..Do you ever have weird dreams?...what were they?


Last night I dreamed that I was canoeing on the river in my desert in the middle of the night, on a full moon, naked...and I was literally glowing like a light stick....and got attacked by a werewolf......he was big and tall, and walked funny....I'll stop there because it just gets weirder.....

I always dream that I'm at my dad's house, trying to save it, trying to work from there, but knowing we have to pack up and leave...so usually I'm in the back yard, hanging laundry, or in the garage cleaning...the roses are in full bloom, the front porch is twice as big, and there is a whole bunch of us still there, with all of our kids...It's usually pretty nice, but every once in awhile there will be a freak ice storm, or I have to walk down the block to a neighbor's house...sometimes my cousin Lana is with me, most times she isn't.

Most of the time we have 2 washers, one dryer, and I hang laundry on the line outside...The bus comes by to pick up all the kids...IDK...wierd...

I dream like that when use to much hot sause . Never date a werewolf that walks funny he prolly has fleas in his nether regions wich is such a turn off.

sometimes I dream where all the family is together, I can see myself looking around thinking hum I thought they were gone, then I think well better enjoy it while I have it. Then a few months after my mom passed I kept seeing her point towards my dads house over and over , I calld and nothingg had a neighbor go check and he had a seisure and was really needing to go to the hospital. She has done that a few times when he was really needing help. That really makes me sit up and wonder whats going on.

Some years back, I dreamed that I had accomplished something that I very much desired.

The dream was vivid enough I realized I no longer desired it.

I don't know whether that qualifies as anything beyond fitful dreams but I am glad that it occurred.

I have had dreams so vivid, so real that when I woke up I was confused, had no idea where I was. A lot of my dreams are me fighting to survive. I believe dreams are a link to our present, past, and future. They can represent something in our lives that we have experienced or currently experiencing, such as fear, conflict, anxiety, being excited about something. Dreams can bring to light something we are refusing to except in real life and they can have answers to things we are troubled by. I always try to figure out what my dream is telling me. Sometimes I figure it out, sometimes I don't. :-)

I don't usually remember my dreams, or when I do it is just kind of vague impressions. You can train yourself to remember your dreams, though. Years ago in college I used to keep a dream journal. In almost no time I was remembering 3 - 4 dreams per night, in vivid detail. The act of remembering recent dreams helps your mind remember future dreams.

After watching the Republican candidate debates - I had an odd dream. Any of y'all remember those wacky, madcap comedies Barbra Streisand & Ryan O'Neil made back in the 70's? Like, "What's Up, Doc?" and "For Pete's Sake"? Well, this dream was kinda like that. Except I was on a madcap adventure with Rick Perry and his wife, Carol Keeton Strayhorn!* Don't remember all the details, but Gov. Perry was driving the limousine, the various stops included cabarets and (semi)drag queens. There was a lot more that I don't remember - but I did wake up very, very confused! lol

*It makes more sense if you're from Texas. Carol Keeton Strayhorn isn't his wife in real life - she's another conservative Texas politician who among other things has challenged Rick Perry in the governor's race.

I haven't had any weird dreams since I stopped watching the raw crime scene footage and surgery video that used to come across my desk at work.
