MEN——if you were truly a Romantic man....you already would have been thinking of what you could do to for your VALENTINE LOVE. If she loves music, you have those rock concert or some kind of concert tickets already ordered. Make sure its HER kind of favorite music to listen to, and NOT YOURS.

Remember the laughter, happy face and smiles she had when you first saw her? Well you CAN recapture all that! If she was an artist, dancer, hobbyist of some sort when you met her, but the house and kids take up her time now.....think along the lines of what you can get / do for her that might take her back to that time.

Why am i directing this thread at the MEN? Its because the woman in your life is always thinking of you without reminders. They do it when they cook your favorite meals, buy your favorite kind of socks n underwear. They are thinking of you when they keep your home and clothes clean (dependin on how messy you are, it may or may not be good thoughts).

How many times did she give you something for any and every holiday including your birthday...in the beginning? If she no longer does it, its because you didnt do it in reverse! Cards are great for other times...but to “show" THE SPECIAL WOMAN in your life that you still think of her as the spcecial woman she is.

A THOUGHT FILLED GIFT is needed. I put “thought filled” gift so some of you men might understand that running out at the last minute buying whatever candy, or card or flowers you might find left, is NOT as THOUGHTFUL a gift as YOU thought. Sure, its better than nothing or a poke in the eye, but come on...be ROMANTIC. Being a ROMANTIC GIFT GIVER will give you a VERY ROMANTIC WOMAN!

WOMEN...come on...help these men out! How can they be ROMANTIC if we women dont teach them? They arent MIND READERS...and if nobody TAUGHT them HOW to be THOUGHTFUL, ROMANTIC GIFT GIVERS, then how can women expect it? IT JUST ISNT IN MENS GENETICS like it is in ours!

WOMEN not only have it in their genetics, they also learn from their mothers. Just by watching their mother in the early stages of life, little girls learn. Especially if they see their fathers positive reactions towards their moms. Little girls genetics prime them for love of people. While little boys genetics seem to prime them for not wanting to be the odd man out.

GENERALLY speaking, most little boys grow up with MOM running the show ( doing all the labor ) and working...and DAD soaking up the rewards, when he gets home. Thats about as much as little boys are exposed to their fathers participation in the relationship. To little boys, taking care of a vehicle is “play / fun”. Just like painting the house, or fixing plumbing and other “guy” things( if a woman is lucky enough to have a man who actually does those things).

SO WOMEN of all ages and walks of life, single or married, post what you believe YOU would like to receive as a VALENTINE gift. It might be a toolset for the woman who is into fixing things...and then guys, dont make the mistake of assuming that what YOU WANT is what a WOMAN WANTS. however, WOMEN, you just might get that kind of gift IF YOU DONT GIVE THESE MEN SOME IDEAS! **laughin**

FLOWERS!!! And the prettiest, fanciest card you can find.

I like carnations, because I am allergic to nearly everything else, thanks to the pollen. Carnations are cheap and look good. They come in any color that vegetable dye comes in. I like red and pink, with baby's breath and leather leaf ferns.

A frilly, sappy card is nice too, but the flowers are a must!

Add some red, heart-shaped helium balloons and a little valentine candy, preferably conversation hearts and red hots!

If you have any money left over, take her to dinner at a NICE restaurant.

If you can't afford dinner, make something nice at home, with flowers and a card, candy for dessert, coffee or wine (Riunite Lambrusco is good...and CHEAP! Put it in a chilled glass and serve with dinner.)
