Christmas decorations up since freakin August!!

It seems like every year I am noticing Christmas decorations up earlier and earlier especially in mall stores. Are these people so mercenary that they have to start pushin" their sh## as early as August and certainly now by Halloween..and if not by then the very minute after. Something is wrong with this picture.
