Hi everyone! Have you ever had a strange event happen where you knew you were placed in a specific area at a specific time? This happened to me when I was out and about this afternoon. Before I went into Hobby Lobby, I parked in such a way that I would be able to see when I was leaving (I don't really like backing out in busy parking lots.) I went into the store for a while. When I left and was on my way to my car, I noticed a man with a large van(windows with curtains as well) I made it to my car, got inside, and something told me to look up. There was that large van and a much smaller car about to rear end each other. Then I was told to lay on my horn. As soon as I did that, both vehicles stopped, with the drivers obviously looking up and probably wondering who laid on their horn. It was one of those Oh My Gosh moments...where an accident was prevented. Things would have been a mess if I hadn't been in my car, positioned in a way where I could see exactly what was going on.

Have you had an experience like this?

Im not sure its related but your story reminded me of this:

I was at a red light once waiting to make a left hand turn. The left hand turn light was red so I staid and waited patiently. It was in the afternoon and the weather was somewhat gloomy and overcast. There was a lady who was crossing the street. She was in her 50s maybe. She walked at an average or below average pace and was carrying some shopping bags. She walked in front of my car and I got to see her walk from the sidewalk to the right of me and was about to cross the oncoming traffic lane. I noticed that there was a large Ford F-450 coming at a pretty fast pace. I waited thinking that it would see the lady and slow down or stop. The truck kept coming and the lady had no idea the truck was coming.

My imagination got ahead of me and I saw the truck smash this little lady into mush as I watched it take place inches from where I was.

In a split second I realized that no one was going to change trajectory so I honked.

The Ford’s driver looked up and noticed the lady and slammed on the breaks then stared at me directly. The lady was alarmed and startled by my annoying horn. The ford waited for the lady to cross and then was on his way. The lady lived to see another day. My instincts kicked in and did a good thing.

Just maybe - it was supposed to happen that way ... but, you interferred!!

The driver was staring at you directly and thinking "why did you stop me??" and the lady was annoyed by your horn which stopped the driver from smashing her into mush. She was thinking "why did the darn guy stop the driver from running over me?"

        A Voice and a Vision

I was on my way from Tillamook Or. to N.Idaho, I had stopped in Umatilla to get gas before I crossed the Columbia into Washington. There was a young NA man pumping gas, he was interested in the hand pulled travois I had in my car and commented on other things visible to him as he peered into my windows. When he was finished pumping gas I headed north. I no sooner got across the bridge when he was sitting in the passenger seat, looking at me and smiling, saying nothing, but with his finger, motioning for me to turn around and go back. As he was doing that, the voice of Grandfather was also telling me to turn around and go back. So of course I did. Turns out the young man, who became my adopted younger brother, is of the Nez Perce, but had been adopted by whites when he was quite young. They didn't bless him with his heritage there fore he was lost. I took it upon myself to encourage him to seek and pray to his ancestors. I make for him what the native women in his life would make for him and give him gifts they would give to him. Through Grandfather, my little brother has enriched my life and I have through Grandfather, enriched his.
