Barbara Ann Helms Bledsoe, age 45, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. She is survived by her parents, Rick and Linda Helms of Grayson, GA, sons: Wade Bledsoe and his girlfriend Mary Drath; Josh Bledsoe, GA, boyfriend, Keith Dutton all of Lawrenceville, GA, brothers: John Helms of Snellville and Richard Helms, Jr. of Grayson, GA, niece, Hadlie Helms of Snellville, GA, Aunt, Helen Holt of Calhoun, GA, numerous cousins and her extended Law Enforcement family and friends.

Barbara was a 1985 graduate of South Gwinnett High School where she played in the Band. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. Barbara worked in Law Enforcement dispatch for a total of 20 years combined for the City of Snellville Police Department and the City of Lawrenceville Police Department where she had just retired on January, 3, 2013. Barbara loved cooking for large crowds and enjoyed crocheting.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Barbara will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January, 26, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. Dr. Davis Chappell will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall at church.

Flowers accepted or memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville to the Campground Fund, P.O. Box 2127, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 in memory of Barbara Helms Bledsoe. Condolences may be sent or viewed at Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville, GA Tom M. Wha??? I'm more than curious!! Trouble won two Bingo games last session and it was a pain in the rear getting those prizes distributed.

So please enlighten me...kinda slow and oblivious to the obvious usually.

You aren't the only one who is kinda slow, Rose. LOL! I had talked to her about meeting up and going to the St. George powwow a year or so ago, but she said her health wasn't that great at the time, and she couldn't go. I believe she told me she was in the Augusta area-maybe it was Athens.

I'm curious about this now, too.
