As to hope for disappearing pages, that may need some technical checking.

The login process doesn't work as expected. Need to login twice or triple to be really logged in.

Chasing napkins, yeah may be more leafs. Second night I did not here the thunder or see the lightning but awake to the falling rain.

Got my second BionTech shot today. Felt very sleepy and now the arm is hurting a bit. LOL.

My favorite breakfast burrito place has decided that opening at 7am in a post-Covid world is too much trouble. I used to get breakfast there around 7:00-7:15am, but since Covid they are rarely open before 8am, despite not changing their hours. I pulled in at 7:30am and they weren't open. I was counting on breakfast. My one little 3 oz cup of mac and cheese isn't going to get me through to 4pm. The break room snack machine hasn't been filled since March 2020. There will be dead people today.

My neighbor is better than TV. Her cat climbed on the roof again. Much drama ensued. This morning, the neighbor had crawled half out the attic window, in her nightgown. She spent a half an hour trying to coax the cat in. It was quite a while before it occurred to her that the cat couldn't actually get in the window with her torso blocking the window. Once she crawled back into the house, in came the cat to claim the can of tuna the the neighbor had been waving around. LOL.

Now, I've watched this cat get on and off that roof for a well over a year. She jumps up and down from the roof of the neighbor's SUV. It's a 3 ft jump. Then the cat screams at the top of her lungs until someone comes out to see how clever she was getting on the roof. (And offer her special treats to get down.) I've told the neighbor this, but she is convinced the cat can't get down.

This same cat gets on my roof. The neighbor would have a heart attack if she ever saw her cat do it. Cats generally don't jump where they can't see. The route the little monster takes to my roof is a masterful demonstration of this.

The cat jumps from the railing of my back steps to the roof of my studio. Now she could make a shorter jump directly to the roof of the back porch, but she can't see if there is anything on the roof. So she makes the much further jump to the studio. From there she can clearly see the roof of the back porch. She then leaps the 8 ft gap between the studio and the house. Then she jumps to the back gable. From there to the front gable. Finally, from the ridgeline to the chimney cap. Once there, she sings the victory song of her people, driving my indoor cats crazy.

I'm waiting for the day I come home to find the neighbor and the poor sap she recruited to help her on my roof.

Shall we discuss the 4 foot long snake skin that we found in the chem lab? The critter ridder guy claims it’s was a rat snake. I was ok until the maintenance guy said “I can’t guarantee it won’t fall out on the ceiling on you. I freaked. I’m currently using an empty office at the other end of the building.

It is weird going back. I’m having a hard time being around people without a mask. I could have done without the snake.

Waves hi to JD.

We are watching Hurricane Elsa. At this time, it's going to pass west of us and will only be a tropical storm by then. That can change though, so we'll keep watching it. It should be passed us by Wednesday afternoon. I'll make sure everything is charged up, and the ice containers are in the freezer, just to be sure. We need to grab some bread too before it sells out. LOL! We will just get rain and a little wind, but you can never tell about our power.

I swear, if it doesn't quit raining, Princess Diva is going to have a permanent pout. If cats could stick out their lower lips to pout, she would do it. It's been raining nearly every day for the last couple of weeks, and her highness is plenty mad about it. She glares at us like it's out fault.

I like this Food Truck place. I think I'll have a triple grilled cheese and some sweet tea.

Ok, I ma going to clean up my office Archiv which is misused as a parking lot for laptops, Covid self test kits and hand santizier because I need the space for the masses of paper fiels I will get in August. Sigh and there will be files delivered forgotten a year or two ago.

Now it looks like when Elsa heads out to the Atlantic, she will use our county as her door. Lovely. I never mentioned it, but power outages are a good excuse for eating most of the ice cream in the freezer. LOL!

OLC, found that chem lab snake yet? You do realize that being a snake, he can pretty much go where he wants, right? All he has to do is fit his head through and the rest of him will follow.

We suspect that we have a mouse or mice on the back porch, and I'm worried a snake of some sort will get on the porch to get them. Princess Diva just looks at them like they are not worthy of her time. I guess they aren't since she hasn't gotten them yet. The name Diva fits her so well.

Well , speaking of snakes...... We have a stray mama cat that decided it was a good idea to have kittens in our dog house ! Now the dogs don't use it anymore because they have a better house now and the old doghouse smelled like......well.....dog ! LOL Never the less I moved it away from the house and put dry hay in there during the winter.(that super cold we had) And our cats stayed in it during the really cold snap we had. So this mama cat has 5 kittens and over the past few weeks they've gotten active and playful and somewhat fun to watch. We noticed their eyes were all goopy so we started cleaning them every day and started to get attached and were considering our options as far as we not needing any more cats ! Well , a week ago nature decided to remedy that problem for us ! Seems something wild appears to have a taste for small kittens ! Every day this week when I go out to feed the cats , there has been one less kitten ! Don't know if it's a snake , an owl , or a coyote , but every day this past week we lost 1 kitten. This morning there are no more kittens and the mama cat is out there crying so bad ! I feel so sorry for her ! Nature is sometimes cruel , and survival of the fittest reigns supreme !
Now I told the story , now I want breakfast ! 2 of my usual and coffee !
