Well, we may have the ice from last Weds storm gone in the next few days. Despite several good sunny above freezing days, we still have ice in shadowed areas.
Over the past couple years, they have built all these 4-6 story apartment complexes on the main streets around the historic district. This means that two of the major access roads into the hospital district and my neighborhood never see sun. Sunshine is my city's snow removal plan. I went to get Jet from the vet today and about a mile of the road was still a sheet of ice with a few narrow tracks cut through it. I thought I had left snirt (BA, snirt is snow/dirt) on the other side of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon line, lol.Comment

Our driveway is in the shade and part of the front yard , so they still have snow. The ditches are still snow filled as they drifted full , some were 3 feet deep ! Other than that it's about gone. It was 61 today and supposed to be upper 50s tomorrow ! Looks like the next 2 weeks only has 1 day in the 30s and that's Saturday ! Well, Jet seems to have recovered from his imprisonment. After I brought him home on Monday, he rolled in the sand from my neighbor's never ending construction to get rid of the vet stink. Then he wandered around the neighborhood wailing. For four hours, I could hear his crying as he roamed around trying to find the Meow Mob.Comment

I'm watching an online conference, between failures of the live stream. I really like these events online. No getting dressed up. (Note I said dressed up not dressed.) I am so glad to skip the freezing cold ballrooms with the steamy Houston weather. No glasses fogging up every time I leave a room, lol.

Good grief , mother nature's at it again ! We had 3 days of 65+ degrees this week and tomorrow we're supposed to get 1/10th" of ice and 7 inches of snow ! Along with high wind and 20 degrees ! Hahm, we have in the sixties but rain and storm. Schools have been closed down due to storm (Orkan) warning.
There as some wind and lost of rain here but it wasn't as severe as said. At other places, rees have been blown down and hit some cars causing two or three dead.

It was 67F today and will be 82F tomorrow. Then Tuesday we'll drop 50 degrees to right around freezing with rain. Please pray that the freeze line stays north and west of us for 2 days. I'm not up for another ice storm.Comment
