Well, the solar companies founder is the founder SENEC, electricity storage and the power generator company in the background is Energy Baden Württemberg (ENbW).

At the very moment I have the feeling that every company in the energy business is on a trip of super high revenues and believing being outside of the law. I needed a new contract beginning on January 1st 2023. But I don't get a contract. I only get offers starting September 1st 2022. In estimating that the prices will be 10 or may be even 20 Cent/kWh higher then today I am trapped.

Thanks that for gas i asked much earlier and got barely acceptable conditions. Now it is worth. And I keep the feeling that the prices are higher than they have to be. France has shut down halt of their atomic power plants and we in Germany produce electric power for France by gas power plants. And suing gas to produce elctric energy allows to demand the high prices for electric energy produced wind and water power plants. The coal plants are cheaper than the gas plants but the prices for gas plants can be asked at the spot market. Special law.

We had some rain last night but we are short of rain and water. It should rain for many days lightly. In this way the earth can drink the water and retain it. Much water in short time from the sky is waisted because it is drained on the surface.

Lets hope for days of light rain and lower temperatures.

Depending on where you were in the metroplex yesterday, we had 9"-15" of rain. In my neighborhood, we had 9.9". Things were so dry, it mostly ran off. The creeks and rivers went out of their banks. The roads turned into rivers. The major road out of my neighborhood and the hospital district flooded.

It misted and sprinkled off and on all day, today. Just enough to keep the pavement wet.

It should be interesting to see the new drought monitor data on Thurs. I wonder how much improvement there will be. The patch of weeds I jokingly refer to as my yard has already greened up. I went down the back steps today and the trumpet vine started growing toward me. It got water, now it wants nitrogen, LOL.

Still no rain, We are going to have another couple of days in the range of 28°C to 34°C with sun, sometimes clouds.

The grass turns yellow brown and the leaves are falling like in late autumn.

Well, the drought monitor shows our county moved up two levels from "exceptional" to "severe" drought. The numbers are still trickling down. Maybe next week will be a bit better. And we're forecast to get more rain next week.

Unfortunately, most of the rain fell on Metroplex, not north of it. Which means Houston's reservoirs got most of the water.

We're still hot and dry. The rain goes all around us, even in the county. It will rain 10 miles south of us, but all we get is the thunder.

I'm still working on that embroidery piece. I've got a couple of other projects in mind, too. OLC, good luck coming up with a project. When I ran out of jewelry ideas, I would scan some of the shopping channels or Etsy and see if I could find inspiration there.

Still no rain in my region. Night temp 60F late afternoon 85. Sun is shining though now there are some clouds.
Rain, hail, lightning and thunder in other regions but nothing to drink for the plants here.

We are also making up for lack of rainfall. We've gotten several inches in the last few days, with another 3 or 4 due by Sun.. Makes me happy to live in the country surrounded by dirt and land that absorbs water. There are places in town where it floods with just a little rain. Places that used to be swamp, but got paved over and built on. It's still hot as blazes, though. Triple digit feel like temps. At least we are used to that. I feel bad for those folks experience record heat and have no idea how to cope with it.

Temps down to 60F. It is raining now. Thank for the Lord. The land, the plants and the animals needed water.
