i like it because its like frybread power or intel powered... u know. like our native-ness "powers" us.
But my coworker/friends give me a hard time about the same thing. I have a T-shirt that says Native Pride and they are always saying its racist.
But I think its empowerment.
hmmm... :pThe only time its too late to start dancing is when you're dead.

aww, but, we're not promoting any type of violence or anything like that... besides, i thought Native Pride was now it's own label... like phat farm, guess, gap... etc.. i mean, we have to be proud of who we are... and i know muh best friend has a Chicano Pride T that i've seen her wear and i think that's cool.... as long as your not promoting hate and racism.... but, with White Power, i think that's a whole different situation because they're known for hate and hate crimes... and being racist....~*~ FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS TAKE HOME UGLY SNAGS ~*~

I know that in the heyday of concsious rappers like Publice Enemy and the days when folks were wearing the Africa medallions it seemed to be more of an upliftment. It is so sad that a family can torn apart by something as simple as a wild pack of dogs.
