  • UGH... The things kids do!

Hell Child, formally named Cinnamon Bear, messed up his ankle last night... looked icky. Today he stayed home due to it. Well, he got angry at Little Bear, my 4yrs old, and picked up a plastic bottle of ketchup and before I could grab it from him, he chunked it at Little Bear. Don't worry, Little Bear is a swift ndn. Hell Child missed him, but the ketchup bottle flew down the stairs and hit the carpet thus busting all over the place. The ketchup is from the hallway to the hearth of the fireplace. It hit not only the carpet, but the walls, the fan, the typewriter, the computer and my dresser.

Yes, he got a spanking. Yes, his b-day party is no longer tomorrow. Not sure if I should cancel or just postpone. I tried cleaning the mess from the carpet but it made it worse. My mother said to wait for it to dry some and try again. So now I am waiting.

So what do your kids do that complete irritate you or leave you wondering what in the heck were they thinking?
When you turn your back on me, don't expect me to care what you think!!

        Geez!

Sounds pretty rough in your home but I hope you learned your lesson not to be cussing out your Mom and arguing back with your grandma. Hope all is well between all of you and you never have a bad day like this again. :Angel2

When you get to be a Mom and then a Grandma you will understand. Of course not all of us discipline in that manner. Like Runnerz says, you are a good story teller. :Chatter

Them teenage hormonal years are tough on everyone. *LOL*.

Implementing our native ways everyday and talking helps a lot. We have certain things we cannot do during that menses time with our daughters and is good to talk and set a good example. But I agree, them adolesent years are tough ones!

Yeah what she said!!And you will not understand till you have kids one day.. so just take our word for it LOL!!

Good to see your grandma still got it goin on! I'm 35 and my aunts still hush me when I talk to my mother in what they feel is an unappropriate way.. they should say something to their own kids though LOL.

I dont' think I would have waited till ketchup dried though. I've had to clean dried ketchup off the walls before and it's no fun.. but HEY.. those Mr Clean Magic Erasers...THEY WORK NO KIDDING
Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear... just sing, sing a song.sigpic

I did clean it off the walls, doors, fan , etc. It was the carpet that was just smearing into this gigantic mess. I Oxy-cleaned it through my steam cleaner. It is better, but there is still a noticable area. I am probably gonna have to replace the carpet.

Today, my husband & I attended the UC Irvine Powwow. It was our 1st Powwow. Since our 15th wedding Anniversary is tomorrow (The 4th), we desided to make this our gift to eachother. I wrote down some comments while we were there: It was a beautiful day, hot, but beautiful. We walked around the...

I thought that I was done with hate. I thought it was through. But it is not. What transpired on the 26 of Dec was proof of that. I really don't understand why it happened. I don't believe there were too many profound lessons to be learned by me getting my *** kicked severely.
