cougie, owl feathers are legal in the Uk, and that looks like it is more of a druid/wicca thing to me. It appears to be a "prayer fan" that will only be sold in the UK..posts only in the UK is the bottom part of the listing..and all the information given..it refers to the Celtic Culture and specifically refers to a Queen whose tribe was once residing in the East Anglia area..so in a sense...even though it says Native American..it has no part of our culture or dealing with any laws within the USsigpicWe spend a lifetime worrying about if we make a difference....Marines don't have that problem.Comment

according to the international (CITES)laws which protect all endangered animals, these feathers are not legal to SELL in the u.k.
aside from the fact that this man USED the words " Native American" to make money ( typical white man) it is against Ebay policy to allow these feathers to be sold on their site. Thank you to those who emailed about it, his auctions were pulled.
And I did email this man politely. now he is emailing me and threatening me so that email didnt do much good. he has let me know he reads my postings here so I suspect he will try to harass me here. not that it matters, I did nothing illegal and was well within my rights.
I get exasperated with the people over here in England.
a lot (not all) use our culture and all it represents to make a buck. They make Outkast look authentic.
:Eyepopper I have no problem with this man personally or with his celtic beliefs(I am part irish!). but if that is what he is trying to portray why the false pretenses? why USE Native American ? why not Celtic prayer fan?

Well, my tribe doesn't like owl feathers, won't go near them! So, if some guy has them in his posession and some other guy wants to try to buy them, then they will certainly get what's coming to them!!Comment

I have been corresponding with this individual and although we do not agree on this particular issue I have found him to be a extremely caring and earth conscience person. I owe him a public apology for saying he is a "typical white man" for he is anything but typical. he has a great understanding of mother earth and all her wonderful creatures.
