by silverwing13I have been assigned a college research paper that must be done on a culture to which I do not belong. I chose the Cherokee. I would need to ask a couple of question about the culture (what you do, what the social norms are, any particular group of things that are special to the tribe, etc.)

by WhoMeI have run into more Cherokees at powwows than almost any other tribe. The Cherokee host two excellent powwows: The Cherokee 4 of July Powwow in Cherokee, North Carolina and the Cherokee Holiday Powwow in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

We would like to include some traditional elements of marriage such as the blue/white blankets etc. I was not raised in the traditions of my Cherokee ancestors so I know very little about Cherokee marriage...
