I am a 56 year old Grandmother of 7. I have two daughters, one in Washington State and the other in South Carolina. I was a bartender for 25 years and really enjoyed getting to know people. I worked over 20 at the Chief Petty Officers Club at NAS Whidbey Is. Had to quit because of a bad back. Those 169# kegs finally got the best of me. So I just sit back and watch life go by now. Watch allot of TV as I have no life at all. I think that is why I like getting to know different people and this is a wonderful site. I am going home to Washington state tomorrow and there is a big PowWow on the 28th of this month at the Lucky Eagle Casino. I have a dear friend that is going to dance and I really love to watch the wonderful dancers and listen to the drums.

Hi again COOK, (don't mind that, <= it's what I am gonna call you from now on cause it's easy to remember.) Grandmother of 7 huh? must be interesting. Do you get to see much of them? There are alot of people on here that have back problems. Lil Wolf and a few other's. I have it too. I watch alot of movies. We don't get cable here so I watch vidio's alot. I was watching TV on my computer, my hubby installed some kind of card that picks up TV but something wrong with it right now. Are you going to live in Washington? I am over on the east coast, on the beaches of VA. I hope you enjoy your powwow. Most people here check in powows.com at least once a day. If you keep posting here people will probably say hi.

Never mind my age, but I'm a grandmother of 1 ~ somewhere in Tennessee. I live in Washington state and would have loved to have been stationed at NAS Whidbey when I was serving. We're having a Pow Wow in Kelso on the 21st... at the high school (in case you want to come ~ I-5 exit 39 - turn east, you can't miss it). I was thinking about going to the one on the 28th and 29th in Chehalis ~ maybe I'll see you there!
