  • Hello from NYC!

Hello everyone. I am totally new to this posting thing so please forgive my clumsiness while I figure it all out. I am of Dakota/Irish descent living in New York City. The Indian side of my family is from up in Canada but I was born and raised here in NY. I also might have some Cree ancestry but not absolutely sure of this. Is anyone else an Urban NDN here?

But i promise ill get back to your posts....if i know where there at, (theres so many in here!!)

i am city raised and hate it
have always longed to be in the countryside....but then i know id miss the city....

im just several blocks to the indian mounds here in ohio!!
newark and heath!! newark ones you cannot see though, rich white ppl are saying they own the area, cause they built a golf club on it before the state recognised it a park, so we are fighting for it hard, slowly but surely....

all native americans are linked to these mounds.....
they were built by us for us and for all to see, not just the golfers!! high buck club,....

but enough of that, i could talk about that all day!

welcome once again, and to find out about people you can take and click on theyre name and it will tak you to theyre profile, try it on mine if you havent done it yet!!
