I Don't How Many Of You Are Cherokee - But I Am. If This Lady Is Going To Be Adopted Into The Tribe, All I Want To Know Is Where It Is Gong To Happen And Who The Elder Is. 'cause Alot Things About The Cherokee Are Taken Out Of A Book Or Stolen From Us ! ! ! I Only Say This 'cause It Has Happened. Some Fool Got Caught Recordin' Cermonial Dances And Songs And Was Tryin' To Sell Them In Ga.
I Just Find It Hard To Believe That This Taking Place. For All I Know The "tribe" Doin' The Adopting May Not Be Legit. I Know That You Can't Schedule Something Like This - There Is More To It Than Just Coming Here And Being Adopted. If You Don't Know What I'm Talking About Then You Don't Need To Be Tryin' To Get Adopted Into Any Tribe! ! !
I Just Don't Understand Why Some People Want To Be Something Their Not. Why Can't You Be Happy With Who You Are? 'cause You Have Ancestors That May Have Done Great Things - So Do Some Research And Find Out And Learn To Be Happy And Accept Who You Are.

Ok EP since it's for you:
"Vegemite is one of several yeast extract spreads sold in Australia. It is made from leftover brewers' yeast extract (a by-product of beer manufacture) and various vegetable and spice additives. It is very dark reddish-brown, almost black, in color, and one of the richest sources known of Vitamin B. It's thick like peanut butter, it's very salty, and it tastes like - well let's just say that it is an acquired taste!" NO, lets' just say it has the consistency (and taste and appearance, of AXLE GREASE!!! but Aussies seem to love it

I am not Cherokee, adopted or otherwise, but ndnlady1306 is.

I would be interested to know how you respond to her questions. You've already responded to mine, " Are you ready?". But..... responding to an Anishinaabe is not the same as responding to an actual Cherokee. She has a right to question.

Ok at the time in june-August 2005, i was not married then but single ok, and i went with my cherokee finance to his friend who said he was an elder and a storyteller (well i known for a fact that he is in one of the books as a storytell) but as an elder i not sure ok, he was from the wolf clan and he said he would also do a cherokee marriage service over us after we had the legal marriage service and also he would like to adopted me into his family as his daughter may i would not become an cherokee but my finance at the time thought i would be, as he had known this man for over 11 years and was his brother. This man also run the local small sweet lodge.

That is all what happened at the time.
