Hi everyone! I just joined powwows.com. I've been visiting the site for about a month, getting powwow dates . Im in Mesa, Arizona. Im not formally affiliated with a tribe but am pima and mingo (ohio seneca) and have a wide swath of european ancestry.

I started going to powwows when I was a toddler and at some point stopped. Mainly due to some major identity issues....which hopefully are well on their way to resolution.

Im always happiest at a powwow.

                        Hi!
I'm new at the site and would like to know some people here..

I write all way from a cold and snowy Sweden. It's -21 deg. Celcius outside (below 0F), it's dark - so indoor is beautiful.
Powwow seems kinda cool and some day I might have money enough for coming over...

                        Hi there,
I am from New Zealand and am hoping to visit the USA next year and am wondering if non-Native people are welcome to attend Powwows? Also, if they are welcome, which of the many hundred powwows might you recommend? Is there a list of just the largest gatherings?
                        Many thanks in...
