Hi
My name is Sylvia, and I live in Muskegon Michigan along the shores of Lake Michigan. I am Chocktaw or Chickasaw, not sure which as many of the records were lost during the transition to Oklahoma, and many tribe members decided it was not where they wanted to be. This is information told by my family who live in Oklahoma. We have tried to trace our ancestry, but as I said many records were lost. But I still am proud to be a Native American no matter what tribe I came from. I work for Goodwill Industries of West Michigan as a Industrial Services Scheduler, we have a small assembly facility with in Goodwill Corporate Headquarters for West Michigan. I schedule work for Mentally and Physically disabled Teen and Adults, who assemble parts for surrounding factories. I have 2 grown daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren, and have been married to the same guy for almost 40 years. I hope to meet some new friends here and listen and share our knowledge.
