Hello! I'm looking for some input on my little girl's jingle dress. I'm crafting her second one, and she wants some specific appliques on it, i.e., skunks, badgers, and anhingas. I'm new to regalia-work, and not really sure if there's anything inappropriate in the wearing of these animals on her dress. She's only five, so it's all animals, all the time, these days. I'd love to get some feedback before I move on with assembling the appliques. I'm not native, so if there's any obvious symbolism I won't be aware, and her father isn't sure about women's regalia at all. I will be grateful for any pointers I get.
