In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is
weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

          49????

Well, I didn't vote, even though I went to one of those and have been to the other ones before. There are no real 49's anymore...I am from the old school, where you went to sing all night, til daylight and the focus was the singing. You had old and young out singing, people with their folding chairs and the 49 was in the camps,3 or more drums going at the same time. Let's talk Walters, or comanche homecoming..that's old school. Or go back to the Rockhouse in the 70's, early 80's, or Stroud, Pawnee Homecoming, County Line at White Eagle. LOL
So, no..no vote for me. Haven't seen a real 49 outside of Oklahoma in a while, just major partying, boom boxes, blah blah blah.
I am thankful for my grandparents, my parents, my brothers, my aunties and uncles, my children, my companion and all of those who influenced me to be strong and proud of being who I am and where I come from. Knowledge is power
