Ralph Haymonds style of dancing is truly the traditional way a stright dancer should dance. He dances with his heart, and is a honorable man. He is smooth, exciting to watch, and makes you feel good to watch him. Good luck Ralph you dance for the people and make us feel good.

Ralph Haymond Jr.

Ralph Haymond Jr. dances the Eloska, from the heart and soul. He bares the tears of his Pawnee-Otoe ancestors. When he dances the tears become sweat, as he dances hard, these tears are of joy from his ancestors because of his respect for the Straight Dance Regalia, drum, songs, and dance arena. He is honored by these tears because his ancestors dance with him, give him strength, honor, and the true meaning of the Straight Dance/Eloska. He dances for his family,all his relations,and for the people to enjoy as well as his enjoyment of dancing. This is what I see when Ralph Haymond Jr. dances. Greetings from Afghanistan!

I would like to begin by saying it was an honor to be Nominated with all These Keen Straight Dancers, they truly are the best, and to be put in the same category as them makes me feel really good. I have been here in country a lil over 7 months now, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. And I would like to say many Aho's to who ever nominated lil ol Me! Straight dancing truly is my Passion. And I miss it almost more than ANything! I cannot wait to Jam out there in the Arena again. My heart misses the Music, the way it would make me feel...and allow me to express myself through Dance. Ralph and Wahkeen will Always be my Favorite! SO i look forward to dancing with these Men again when I return home here in a few months! So many Aho's and Peace and Safe travels to all you Powwow People back home in the States!
