He Sapa Wacipi

Personally He Sapa Wacipi Na Oskate is my fav Powwow, but I guess home is where the heart is. I danced at Gathering once and will never do it again. They combined all Womans Traditional together (southern/northern and cloth/buckskin), there were two groups of like 50 females. Most grand entries we didnt even make it onto the floor. That was not fun. We had a hard time getting ready because it was so crowded. It seemed like they were trying to put too much of a show on rather than to get the categories started. We werent done until 2am each night. Although my experience wasnt great (not completely horrible either) I may go back, but to be a spectator and I wont be dancing. I never got to leave the arena to see what was going on outside in the booths. Which I heard was pretty cool!!
