This (Suns destroying Lakers) doesn't rank as much of an accomplishment...this is a SERIOUS mismatch.....and the SUNS have 8 great/good players.....and the Lakers have 1.....and he's trying to do TOO much alone...this isn't even a series....it's a mercy killing. Love the new 'brazilian blur' nickname for Leandro Barbosa...this guy is QUICK!!!!
There is only ONE way to slow down/beat the SUNS and it's to totally control the tempo....slowing the game, controlling the boards...ball possession....and forcing a 1/2 court game and in the PAINT!!!! on offense....also, forcing Steve Nash, who isn't a man on man defender, to guard a scoring guard....and not be allowed to play 'free safety' defense on the ball...as great as Nash is, he's a below average man on man defender, especially against the stronger physical guards like D Wade (healthy) or Chauncey Billups...BUT.....if you want to play run and gun, these guys will KILL you....

Hmmmm think maybe Phil Jackson reads this thread? Lakers beat Suns, outrebounding them, protecting the ball, shooting better, and going slower. So now it's 2-1, but the SUNS will prevail in 6 or 7...do not fear...
PISTONS up 3-0.....cruisin....and they were a better team onthe road, than at home!!! this series is a bore....they will get harder VERY soon.
Jazz win over Houston.....T-Mac and Yao with 50+ points, rest of team totals frikkin' 17!!! but the Rockets will red glare and win in 6 ....stay tuned.....
Mavs beat the Cinderella warriors and now 1-1, but this is NOT going to be a cakewalk...the Mavs have trouble with this helter skelter type offense the warriors use....this team was built to beat San Antonio...and Dirk has so far shown a tendency to get a tight throat when it gets crunch time....but the MAvs will advance they have WAY more talent than G.S..

The Lakers have not made it past the 1st round of the playoffs for the past 3 seasons. Guess who whupped that azz? It was the Suns of course. They gonna get 1 win or 2, and thats about it.

Pistons are on a roll!!! As I watch the playoffs, they are the team too beat. Not the Mavs or the Suns, or the Heat.

I don't think the Warriors will win, but I would love to see that happen to shut ole Cuban up..I can't stand that guy.

OMG!!! I watched the Warriors whup some azz on the MAVS...
They played awesome!!!! The MAVS showed up and that was about it. Overrated MAVS... They are going home soon to watch the playoffs on tv. haha.

What can I say about my BULLS? Down in the 3rd QTR and they come back and wore that booty out. They played hard and fast in that one. There was some of those ticky-tack fouls called, but it didn't help the Miami HEAT. They are gonna be watching the playoffs on tv as well real soon.

So much for the MAGIC.....and the HEAT on the ropes....so long Florida!!!
But the G.S Warriors up 2-1...wooohoooo NOBODY figured this one....wish I would have played them in Vegas....Oh well, I don't gamble....but WOW! Think maybe the pressure's on the Mavs???
This would be about the biggest upset EVER in the NBA if the Warriors go ahead and win this....
And the Wizards/Cavs.....geez, right before this begins, the WIZ lose their two best players.....so this is NO accomplishment for the CAVS who look worse than they did last year....and won't go far...
San Antonio will come back and win their series......and the Suns will get rid of the puddlers (oops I mean Lakers) .....and Houston will beat the Jazz...but the Raptors are looking more like the carcasses again.....young team.....has more talent than the NETS...but no experience....yet it's hard to figure a sub .500 team like the NETS as winners.....
I still believe it will be Pistons/Bulls in the East, with the Pistons advancing...but NOT easily....and Phoenix/San Antonio in the west, with Phoenix advancing and beating the Pistons in 6 or 7....just as I predicted a while ago in this thread.....but ONLY if no major injuries occur ......

Anybody Seen Mark Cuban???

WOW!!! it really is the apocalypse!!
First, the Golden State Warriors go up 3-1 on the Mavs, and look to be set to eliminate them, after a 35 game difference in the regular season.....
Then, Ben Wallace sinks 6 straight free throws!!! and the Bulls wipe out the Heat. The Bulls winning this game wasn't that surprising....but Ben usually dents the rims and backboard with the bricks he lays. The Heat rely WAYYY to much on D Wade, who didn't get a foul call every time he put the ball on the floor like last year...he gets major props, though, for playing and showing heart while still injured. The rest of the heat team showed nothing but age and inability to keep up with the faster younger BULLS.
So, we end up with the BULLS/PISTONS and likely the CAVS/NETS in the Eastern semis...and the best two teams wind up eliminating one of these....This will be a GREAT series...with the Pistons having the better low post game...but the Bulls better on the perimeter. This will be the PISTONS in 6 or 7....and every game a war......
Nets will beat the CAVS..who haven't shown much beyond LeBron...while Kidd/Carter and Jefferson are all playing well now. But it is a shame that either of these teams gets to the semis....
