Congrats to the Pistons for making to the Eastern Finals. Either the Cavs or Celtics will be a good series too watch. And the Lakers are going places...will it be against the Spurs or Hornets? NOLA is just down the road from mah base...

Boston is up 1 game on Detriot...losing the 2nd game so far 85-73 in the 4th QTR with 9:52 left in the game....


Lakers win 89-85 so they are up 1-0.

And Celtics win a game on the road after losing what was it...0-6...??? But Pistons tie it up @ 2-2. Now back to Boston...it looks like it will go 7 games.

Pistons lose...they could have won the game but had turnovers...so it is LAKERS vs CELTICS 2008.

So we wind up with the Celtics/Lakers, in a throwback to the '80s! But no Magic or Bird this time, just Kobe. He was the difference, and was unstoppable. Manu Ginobili i sone of my faves, but overall, the Spurs are just not as strong, and have been essentially the same team while LA added Fisher and Gasol, and is stronger now. The Pistons got very little from their 'bigs' and that was disappointing, indeed. Rasheed and McDyess both played poorly. Next year, it is time for Rodney Stuckey and Maxiell to play more, the Pistons core players are a good unit, but are aging, and need a pure shooter/scorer to emerge, along with a more reliable big man than Rasheed. But it's hard to get on the Pistons case, with 6 straight conference finals, it has been a hell of a run....
