Yeah, same here NSB. A one time, I followed the NBA and think I knew as much as most any fan. These days, it's boredom central, and I almost never watch, and don't even know the players. It's just not the same with the new rules and emphasis on scoring and one on one hot dog plays over teamwork and defense.
BY the way, thanks for all you have done for our nation, and hope you had a great holiday!!!! Take care of yourself...

Thanx...can't even watching NCAA basketball...its boring as well. Maybe it will get better by March Madness?

MJ's speech at the induction was complete garbage...he came off as an anal clown...while he is one of the greatest to play the game, he made himself look like P.O.S.

oh well, at least there is NFL and MLB...

        • Still haven't watched any games...did see some highlights while I was in France last week...and now the Finals are here. Lakers vs. Celtics. All the predictions so far are for the Lakers in seven games that I have read about this series coming up.

I'm sure you and Dr. Buss will have some good discussions now, Joe G.

Why must I feel like that..why must I chase the cat?

                        • There haven't been any posts on this thread for awhile. I just had to give a shout out to the Golden State Warriors on their impressive start to the season. It's fun to watch Curry play...ah, some of his shots are insane! I love the way the Warriors play unselfishly....true team.

Tough loss to the Bucks; hard to play 7 games on the road & win all of them. They looked tired from double OT win night before in Boston. They said Warriors got into Milwaukee at 3 AM..ouch!

Pressure is off; now they can have fun playing w/o worrrying about breaking records. Tomorrow night they play the Bucks again at home....I think the Warriors will want to wallop them to prove a point. We'll see...

The Warriors and the Spurs this season could break the record of 72 wins set in 1995-96 by the Bulls. That is an accomplishment if one or both teams break the record.

                            • Golden State Warriors are still winning and now at 53-5. Barring any injuries, they will more than likely beat the 1995-96 Bulls record of 72-10. Stephen Curry is on fire with his 3 point shooting. He is very difficult to guard for any NBA player so shoots so far away from the basket.

                              • I guess I missed a really good game last night between OKC Thunder and GS Warriors. Competitive & close; either team could have won.

The Bulls were really good back then, aye?

I searched for threads on environmental issues and could not find any on this site, so I decided to start a new thread on the issues of what is going on with the environment....
