Sad day for the NBA, Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash with eight other people, including his 13 year old daughter.

Kobe played his entire career as a Los Angeles Laker and won five titles.

    Rest In Peace, Black Mamba.

Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs retired after 19 seasons. He won 5 NBA titles and multiple MVP awards. Enjoy your retirement, Tim. You earned it.

GSW chokes and the Cleveland Cavaliers are NBA champs for the first time ever! I loved the series. It looked like it was over after Game 2, when GSW were up 2-0. But it was over unitl it is over. And the Cavs proved that. I was pulling for the Cavs after OKC choked when they were up 3-1 on the GSW. So, the GSW are now just a footnote in history and the Bulls are still the best team ever with 72-10. Thank you Cavaliers for a helluva NBA Finals. They are also the first team to ever come back down 3-1 as well. I am not a fan of LeBron, but he played his azz off. Great job LeBron.

I was watching the game 7 at a sports bar in a casino and this old white woman was giving me flak for cheering for the Cavs. I just told her, I want Cleveland to win a championship cause they never won one before, she got butt hurt big time. I had to leave or I probably would have slapped that old hag, I told her, enjoy the game and walked away to another part of the casino and watched the rest of the game. I know she is butt hurt after game 7.

As I am watching the game unfold, this old black guy was butt hurt as well cause he was cheering for the GSW. Got butt hurt in the 4th Qtr. about Curry fouling LeBron and the Cavs had the ball tied at 83-83.

In the sports bar, about 100 people were there. There was only 4 people cheering for the Cavs. When I went to the casino Off Track Betting section there was only 3 of us cheering for the Cavs. The other 50 were going for GSW. It felt great to see GSW lose and all those folks get butt hurt. It made my night.

1995-1996, the 72-10 Chicago Bulls, still the best team ever!!! Thanks to the Cleveland Cavaliers!!!

OKC is really shining on the floor!

Wow!!!...I gotta say that the way the Thunder is playing, they deserve to move on & play for the Championship.

I loved the Bulls & Jordon is in a class all his own. I guess the way I look at it is: in my mind, there isn't/doesn't have to be only 1 team that is the greatest of all time.

Each is special. Different times/different styles/different opponents. I can't compare them, tho I hear folks & ESPN commentators talk about it....a hypothetical match-up...that would be incredible to see.

I guess cuz I'm non-athletic & out of shape. (LOL...Sit & Be Fit on PBS is a workout for me.) And cuz I see how hard my 1 son has been training for years to get better at his sport, I appreciate the talent & athleticism watching sports.

I don't know enough to have an informed opinion, but my family thinks having Toronto win would be better for GSW if they get to the next round.

I think any team that is playing except for the GSW should win the NBA title. Toronto, Cleveland have never won a title before. And OKC was the old Seattle Sonics, who won a title in the late 70's.

OKC Thunder are putting the mitts to the GSW. I hope the Thunder win. I don't want the GSW to be considered the best team ever. The 72-10 Bulls I think are the best ever.

And the Cavs have been playing well in the east.

Also, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul from the Clippers got hurt in the same game. They are playing the Portland Trailblazers and the series is now tied 2-2.
Neither player will return, possibly until next season.

SC is still not playing. I was relieved when the Dubs won w/o him last game. Tonight they're not doing so well. Still early...maybe they can come back???

My mom was one tough NDN & that's how she raised us. Sometime in my life I broke my leg & I just walked it off...LOL! I never knew until a few years ago. Now I joke w/family about how tuff I am...LOL!!

Did you see the game? 1st couple minutes, I thought I was watching a hockey game cuz there was so much physical roughness...lol!

Hopefully, Steph isn't hurt too badly. It was good that GSW didn't need him to come back in to win. Greene, Thompson, Iguodala, Speights & rest of team were able to hold on to the lead.
