Week 6 of the season and with the Sooners firmly in the Top spot.
It looks like they have their own destiny in hand.
If they run the table and win the Big12 they play for the National Championship
Not saying its going to be easy with Texas,Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech coming up and with a possible match with Missouri in the big 12 championship
But I like the chances of the Sooners!!!

They mentioned that fact on ESPN last weekend
Also was mentioned that Tulsa should be in the top 25 ranked teams and should get a little more respect

I saw the game on Saturday, and they looked really, really good. Bradford is amazing, hard to believe he is a sophomore. I saw on msnbc web site on Monday that in their Heisman outlook he is #2 on their list of potential winners. He's THAT good!

Dang I know, wasn't that sad? I almost feel bad, then we WON!!! Go Pokes :) So all in all, not a bad bad day. I was commiserating with my fellow OU fans, when I was at Cheese Fest hooking up the Indian Tacos. Man! Now that was alotta work right there!

The bad thing is, I don't really pay attention to football anymore, just listen to what everyone else is saying....LOL And I try not to be offended by the hardcore asshole OU fans. You ever hear of grit your teeth and bare it? It's more like grind here....LOL

The way it is in the BCS, you can still make it to a Bowl game...so it doesn't matter. Unless you are trying to win it all for the national championship. I think some schools are just trying to make it to a bowl game.

Poor Sooners. I felt worse for the guy at Orvis this weekend in N. Houston. He was wearing his OU shirt so proud...and I asked did your team win. He smiled and said.."No. The bad thing is I'm wearing the loser's shirt in deep south Texas." Yep...that's bad. Poor guy.
