yes,on the free Kazaa that you can download from their website it is true you can get spyware, I was referring to kazza lite or kazza resurection. Now I running spyware guard and spyware blaster whick blocks spyware so it don't matter where I go, I can keep it under control.

Now depending on which limewire you're running,if you have the free download you can, under their search find 4.8.1 Pro I believe it is and use this to replace the free version.Of course we wouldn't dream of doing anything illegal like running the pro all the time, we just run it to evaluate it real good. Also you can download kazza lite thru there to.I have seen occasionally where I couldn't find something on one , but could on the other one. Whichever one you run, or if you decide to try both have fun and enjoy, they both are excellant programs.

So I really could do a search on limewire for the pro edition and download it for free?

I thought that was what I said. Just get them fingers typing in Limewire Pro and you should get a list of several different Limewire. I got one that was listed as Limewire Pro 4.8.1(new),neighbor found it under just plain Limewire as Limewire Pro 4.8.1.After you download it go to the Library tab and click and then explore. You will have to exit limewire in taskbar and then double click and watch it install. Have fun.

Limewire hurts my feelings. It's slugish for me (I'm on a 1.0 ghz processor, 512 mb ram with Cable modem). Kazaa Media Desktop is full of spyware. Kazaa lite Ressurection is not. I use a mixture of three programs for p2p sharing.

                    Kazaa Lite Ressurection

Ares (Like Kazaa and Limewire, but in my opinion it's just better)

Filetopia (If you share filetopia is the best place to be. It's less user friendly though, so if you use it, you need to understand some tech terms)

Also if your looking for certain things, mIRC is good. You can get it from there site, and then use the likes of Ircspy.com or Packetnews.com to search the entire network for anything you want.

Hope this helps you guys with your p2p needs. PM me if you have any questions about these programs, and I'll do my very best to answer them.
