Ok...here it goes. When a post is deleted by a moderator, do we still get to keep our points?

Here is why I ask...I posted something in the beaded dog collar forum and was sharing some advice on how to groom dogs and when I went to check up on it, my post was gone.

Do I still get to keep my points are they taken from me as well?

I sure would like to accumulate points but would hate to see my points taken away from a deleted post by a moderator.

Please help answer this question...
