    Sad to hear another native has given his life so that we can all live in this country. RIP soldier.

    Kiowa/Comanche soldier killed in Iraq laid to rest
    Tuesday, November 29, 2005

    Joshua J. Ware, a 20-year-old Kiowa/Comanche man from Oklahoma who was killed in Iraq, was buried on Saturday.

    Ware was a corporal for the U.S. Marines. He was killed in a November 16 ambush in Ubaydi, Iraq, along with three other Marines.

    Ware was said to be the first Kiowa or Comanche to die in combat since the Vietnam War.

    Not good to hear anyone to have fallen in Iraq. We were lucky to have only lost 3 soldiers while I was there. I pray the Great Spirit guides him on his journey.
